At David Macllian, we take immense pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every folding fan we create. Each piece is handcrafted with attention to detail and made to last. We want you to be completely delighted with your purchase, and we stand behind the quality of our products.
If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your David Macllian fan, we offer a hassle-free return and exchange policy. You may return or exchange your item within 30 days of delivery, provided it meets our return conditions outlined below.
Return Conditions
To ensure a smooth return process, please review the following conditions:
- Time Limit: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date. Returns requested after 30 days may not be accepted or may be subject to store credit only.
- Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as when you received them. The fan should show no signs of use, damage, or alteration.
- Original Packaging: All original packaging, including the protective box, dust bag, and any included accessories, must be included in the return. The original packaging helps protect the fan during return transit.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase is required for all returns. This can be your order confirmation email, receipt, or order number.
- Personalized Items: Custom or personalized fans cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective. Please review all customization details carefully before placing your order.
- Sale Items: Items purchased on sale or with a promotional discount can be returned for store credit or exchanged, but are not eligible for cash refunds unless defective.
How to Initiate a Return
Returning your David Macllian fan is simple and straightforward:
- Contact Us: Email our customer service team at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. Please include photos if the item arrived damaged or defective.
- Receive Authorization: Our team will review your request and provide a Return Authorization Number (RAN) along with detailed return instructions within 1-2 business days.
- Package Your Return: Carefully repackage the fan in its original packaging. Include all accessories, documentation, and the Return Authorization Number clearly written on the outside of the package.
- Ship Your Return: Use a trackable shipping method to send your return to the address provided. We recommend insuring the package for its full value. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or we made an error.
- Processing: Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and process your refund or exchange within 5-7 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once the process is complete.
Refund Information
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow the following timeframes for your refund to appear:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days after we process the return
- PayPal: 3-5 business days after we process the return
- Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days after we process the return
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. If you received free shipping on your order, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund if you return part of the order.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your fan for a different design, color, or style, please follow the return process above and indicate that you would like an exchange. Exchanges are subject to availability. If the requested exchange item is not available, we will issue a refund instead.
For exchanges of different values:
- If the new item costs more, we will charge the difference to your original payment method
- If the new item costs less, we will refund the difference to your original payment method
Damaged or Defective Items
If your fan arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage. We will arrange a prepaid return label and send a replacement at no additional cost, or provide a full refund if you prefer.
Please report any damage within 48 hours of delivery to ensure prompt resolution. Claims made after this timeframe may be subject to additional review.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Gift cards
- Personalized or custom-made fans (unless defective)
- Items marked as final sale
- Fans that show signs of use, wear, or damage not present upon delivery
